If it were not for Apraxia, I would not have met my best friend. I would not have learned my imperfections is what makes me unique. Apraxia has taught me that people with disabilities are not less than. Articulation may never be fully mastered, but I can be successful in other things if I try my best. I am proud to say that I was able to apply to college with a GPA of 4.2. I am the student who was pulled out of the classroom since 3 years old and learned that Apraxia does define me. I will succeed in life because I learned at an early age that the challenges are unavoidable. The letter “R” may never be my friend but I have the tools to keep trying to get it right.
